Mr. Galena is a member of the Minnesota Bar Association, the Ramsey County Bar Association, Main Street, Inc., the White Bear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Vadnais Heights Economic Development Corporation, the White Bear Lake Rotary Club, the White Bear Center for the Arts, and the White Bear Lake Historical Society. He is Board Chair of the 4th of July Fireworks Committee, which puts on the annual 4th of July fireworks display over White Bear Lake. Mr. Galena is active in the St. Paul Winter Carnival. He is a former board member of the White Bear Lake Conservation District, White Bear Lake Economic Development Corporation, Northeast YMCA, Family Service, Inc., University Film Society/MN Film, and a former member of the Lake Area Optimist Club, Lions Club, St. Paul Jaycees.
